"Teacher Candidates Face Water Cannons & Batons – Protest Crackdown Sparks Outrage!"

REUTERSIsrael has received a shipment of heavy MK-84 bombs from the United States, after US President Donald Trump lifted a block imposed on the export of the munitions by the administration of predecessor Joe Biden, the defence ministry said on Sunday.




The MK-84 is an unguided 2,000 pound bomb, which can rip through thick concrete and metal, creating a wide blast 




 Police charged batons and used water cannons, tear gas shells, and sound grenades in front of Shikkha Bhaban this afternoon to disperse protesters, demanding the reinstatement of 6,531 assistant teacher appointments in government primary schools.




The law enforcers took action around 4:00pm. Many have been injured but they stayed on the road despite the police action.
